Springbok wing Bryan Habana evades the Namibian defence to score his 39TH Test try, thereby breaking the Springbok record held by scrumhalf Joost van der Westhuizen. It’s also his ninth RWC try – increasing his tally as South Africa’s leading tryscorer in the competition.

With seven minutes to play in extra time, Springbok flyhalf Joel Stransky succeeds with a dramatic drop-goal. The score moves to 15-12 in the Boks’ favour, and remains so until the final whistle. South Africa win the 1995 Rugby World Cup Final.
